The weather is fantastic in the beautiful countryside setting for this year’s Off The Tracks festival.
The eclectic mix of celtic rock, blues, punk, Bhangra rock among others are all adding up to a great weekend of music, entertainment, real ale and food.
Classy blues-rockers Rainbreakers are bringing their cool, laid-back style to the main stage, delivering songs from their debut album Face to Face and attracting a great crowd. You can feel the appreciation and love for this band that is making a first appearance at the festival. Bhangra-rock fusion band Kissmet are next and are capable of giving an electrifying set to a large crowd. This is an unusual addition which only adds to the already great line-up and well worth checking out.
Bad Touch, also making their first appearance at the festival, give a wonderful mix of classic rock hits from their catalogue of songs and a few super covers are going down really well with the eager crowd.
One of the headliners is the Neville Staple band, who come with hits from not only the Specials but also Fun Boy Three and covers from Toots and The Maytals. Gangster by the Specials is a marvel to see with at least the first 50 rows taking part in a unified ska dance. It’s a superb performance and highlights include A Message to You, Rudy, and Monkey Man.
