Defy All Reason release charity single 'No Need To Hide'

Welsh-based rockers Defy All Reason have written a charity song for this years' 'Rocking for The Children festival' in Nottingham.

The track 'No Need To Hide' was born from the idea that the festival would love its own anthem, so that's when Gav Jones (Lead Vocals) approached the organisers with an idea of creating a bespoke track.

The festival raises funds for Abuse UK, Noize Level Critical (NLC - a project for Autistic children ran by NLC radio) and Rock Against Child Pornography (RACPA).

The track, mastered by Pete Maher (Thunder, U2, Rolling Stones) is emotive, heightened by the meaning behind it. With sincere lyrics 'there's a hero inside', it's easy to see it's purpose and hopefully it fulfils it's uplifting motive.

The band as a rule produce hard-hitting, heavy riffed, melodic Southern-style rock and this track doesn't stray too far from that. It's slow pace yet powerful punch is something that would appeal to the masses and let's hope that's used to further it's beautiful message; stay strong and find your own hero inside, because it's there.

The band says: " It's as much as a tribute track to some as it is an inspirational track to others. We sat down together as a band and discussed how we could get the point across with a melody which people could understand from many different aspects, and we think we have done what we set out to do. It has been an honour to contribute something small to a cause which is so huge in its importance to so many. We hope everyone enjoys the track. It has been a superb experience for us and we are very happy with the final result."

The single will be released via all digital download formats on March 1st 2016 and all proceeds will go to RACPA UK and NLC for Autistic children.
