Defaced - 'Met Your Match' single review

Defaced are a five-piece hardcore / rap-metal band from Somerset and their new single Met Your Match, taken from their Cancer of the Mind EP, launches at a high velocity and knocks you back with its rhythm and style.  

Influences come from Linkin Park and Saliva and it’s clear to see they plan to take no prisoners.  The rapping is fast and furious matching the ferocious pace of the music.  The speed and intensity of delivery never falters and they leave nothing in the locker, never missing a beat.

Images of circle pits and stage diving immediately spring to mind and you can catch the band at ‘Raise the Roof 2’ at The Cobblestones, Bridgewater on Sat 20th July.
