Blackmamba are a hard rocking, head shaking, fist pumping heavy metal four piece hailing from Preston and Alive N’ Violent is their debut album release.
It has been put together in the complete control of the band; a multitude of influences including rock, sleaze and the mighty Iron Maiden, tightly swirl around with screaming twin guitars wailing throughout. It’s time to pump those fists along to a new name in rock.
The opening track, Remain Untamed, is delivered with speed and ferocity. High tempo blasts through the speakers, pinning you to your chair and forcing you to sit up and take notice.
Misfit and Give Me Poison are truly stand-out tracks, delivered with the confident strut of a band on the rise. Songs like these are strong showcases for the band and pull you into repeat plays.
Other strong points are Social Hazard, Paralysis and Refuse To Lose, which all add to the strength of this debut.
Not an album to select a few tracks from but one to crank up the stereo and blast out from top to tail. Old-school rock mixed with raw, almost punk energy levels. A must add to the list of new rock bands.
