Lethary - 'After All This Has Gone.'

Words by Annette Valentine
Lethargy , the heavy metal band named in the Top 50 Albums of the Year by
Classic Rock Magazine, has dusted off the master tapes and released their first new album in ten years, After All This Has Gone.

The album was recorded in Wales with producer Will Maya with thirteen new
songs. The first of which, Amphetamine, has bold guitar work with
unforgettable riffs and a crystal clear vocal. After All has swirling rhythms of riff heaven, reaching a notorious vibration with emotive lyrics.
Redefine, is a song with hard–core guitar, led by high voltage vocals taking
all the publicity. Lead guitarist and vocalist Phil articulates his emotions, leading the
listener on a journey through the tracks to the edgy riffage of It Ends Abruptly.
Strike the Sky wakes up the senses, like a hell-bound hurricane with its
turbo tempo. There are tender moments combined with times when they have their finger on the fun button, showing there’s more than meets the eye to these guys.
Believe in Change has a synthesizer with a mind of its own, with a symphonic edge creating an infectious sense of reflection with added foot-tapping musical splendour.
Rellik of Grief has excesses of punchy riffs and rhythmic reservoirs while Electric Sin cuts straight to the quick with piercing clarity. The soul and grit of No Horizons brings a breath of fresh air.
The album is a riff rollercoaster with killer licks at every turn, combined with moments of sedentary contemplation that slow like the turning of the tides.
