The band has its origins in some small towns in the Bolognese Apennines, where from an early age, the 4 members of the band found escape in music. After over 15 years of other musical projects they gave life to Red Roll. In two years of life, Red Roll has become a registered trademark, it's a band, it's a craft beer, it's a line of T-Shirts. They have an old all-round van with which they carry their idea of rock around.

Their gigs include the opening of the "Nomadi" concert, to the live on the ski slope in Bormio during the World Cup race, but also many pubs and private parties.

Call Me Mad was born in the week before the recording and "closed" at the night in the studio after the recording sessions of other songs.

"We chose this song as the first single for Red Roll because we think it is the one that most represents us, it provides a overview of what Red Roll is, in its different stylistic nuances and influences," said lead singer Passo. "It is a belly piece, direct ... without frills ... which is what we would like to see in our way of making music. The lyrics speaks of points of view ... what is madness? Who is mad? It talks about the need to rationalise everything, to give a name, a word to anything ... even to "things" that cannot be rationalised and closed within a word."

Their upcoming debut album At The End The Beginning will be release on 9th Nov and is an open door into the personal lives of the band. It is an introspective, very personal record. These six songs contain the world of the four members of the band. Stories of madness, of alcohol, of freedom, of believing in dreams and ideals. In their words, when everything seems over it is actually the beginning of something new. And this "new" led to the drafting of the songs. A common basis, alternative rock but with clear grunge influences, punk and even metal, which are the personal stylistic differences of the four band members. Think Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters but also Queens Of The Stone Age and Thirty Second To Mars. 6 tracks, 6 pieces of a path. 6 snapshots of life.
